Alma L. Bertin Obituary (1909 - 2008)

Alma L. Bertin, 98, of Pana died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in Heritage Manor-Pana. She was born September 19, 1909 in Cowden, IL, the daughter of Lee Clara M. Coloney Haines. Alma lived her entire adult life in the Pana area. She was employed by Waddley Poultry Co. and retired from Sugar Creek Creamery. She was a member of Pana Christian Church and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. On February 15, 1928 Alma was united in marriage with Charles Bertin, Jr. She is survived by two grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 20, 1982; sons Russell Bertin in 1958 and Warren Bertin on March 5, 2007; 3 brothers and 1 grandson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Joe Mollett officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
