Atha P. Mills Hickenbottom Obituary (1914 - 2006)

Atha P. Mills Hickenbottom, 92, of Pana, died Friday, July 14, 2006 at 11:55a.m. in Heritage Manor, Pana. She was born March 13, 1914 in Shebl County, the daughter of Chester and Laura French Mount. Atha was a retired LPN at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God, Assumption. Atha married Harold W. Mills in 1934, he preceded her in death in 1957. She then married Ray Hickenbottom in 1960, he preceded her in death in 1996. Atha is survived by her son, Jerry H. Mills and wife Edith, Assumption, IL; step son, Harold Hickenbottom and wife Ginny, Long Creek, IL; step daughters: Betty Faulkner, Vienna, IL and Alice Fisher, Mt. Zion, IL; step daughter-in-law, Norma Hickenbottom, Decatur, IL; 5 grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 15 step great grandchildren; and 2 step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 1 sister, step son, step son-in-law, and great granddaughter. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Sunday, July 16, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 16, 2006 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Beerbower officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Pana, IL.
