Audrey I. Glick Obituary (1924 - 2010)

Audrey I. Glick, 86, of Pana, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield. She was born October 19, 1924 in Tower Hill, the daughter of Thomas Eda (Wade) Rueff. Audrey had lived in Pana Tower Hill her entire life. She worked in the glove factory, Mallory Timers, Shelbyville Hospital as a CNA. She had also worked as a waitress at the Merlyn Lower Restaurant. Audrey was a member of the Pana Christian Church, and she enjoyed gardening, flea markets, and people. Audrey Rueff and Homer Dale Glick were united in marriage on April 27, 1939 in St. Charles, MO. She is survived by her daughters: E. Lorene Sims husband Lyle, Pana and Nancy Marie Horn husband Rhett, New Albany, IN; 4 grandchildren: Vincent Sims, Kent Sims, David Horn, Ryan Horn; 14 great grandchildren: Tyler, Whitney, Logan, Emily, Jordan, Taylor, Heidi, Alexis, Destiny, Annette, Jennifer, Jonathan, Madelyn, Elijah; 7 great-great grandchildren: Maitland, Kennedy, Bryson, Audry, Brody, Adriana, Ephram; and sisters: June Teter, Tower Hill, IL Wanda Jackson, Tower Hill, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on July 3, 2009; brother, Aubrey Rueff. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held Friday, December 17, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Tower Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
