Betty K. Bahney Obituary (1923 - 2009)

Betty K. Bahney, 86, of Pana, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in St. John's Hospice, Springfield. She was born July 7, 1923 in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Wesley and Anna Croy Davis. Betty had lived in Pana since 1977 and she was a homemaker. She had worked at the Rosebud Caf, and later in her life she was a caregiver for the elderly. Betty married Harold R. Bahney and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Patty Grimes husband Frank, Pana, IL Steve Bahney wife Christi, Jacksonville, IL; grandchildren: Libby Nobis, Stony Seyferth, Kimberly Day, Kelly Jo Fuller, Angela Deere, Danielle Minard, Frankie Jean Durham; and great grandchildren: Julie Marion, Jeff Marion, James Day, Jr., Vincent Minard, Bradly Horn, Andrew Deere, Robert Deere, Emily Deere, Bryar Anderson, Amber Huber, Amber Rush, Kaleb Seyferth, Logan Nobis, and Lakin Nobis. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin Bahney on October 12, 1985; brother, Gene Davis; and sister, Anna Mae Huddleston. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held Monday, November 9, 2009 in Linwood Cemetery, Pana at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marilyn Rauch officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home, Pana.
