Cashlynn Cox Obituary (2011 - 2015)

Cashlynn Cox, 3, of Pana died Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Pana Community Hospital. She was born September 2, 2011 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Jacob Becky Merrifield Cox. Cashlynn loved the color pink, Minnie Mouse, Doc McStuffins and Sophia the First. She loved Jesus and loved to sing and listen to music. She made lots of friends at school. She loved her classmates and they loved her. She was sassy and silly, fancy and frilly and most of all bossy. She was loved. Cashlynn is survived by her mother Becky Cox, Pana; sister Gabby Cox at home; brother Kegan England, Taylorville; grandparents: Ronald Penny Brown, Tom Merrifield, Babette Robert Taylor, George Tina Cox, Jeff Rhodes all of Pana; great grandparents: Joyce Kenneth Griffin, Pana; nurse: Edith Perry, Pana and by many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father on April 8, 2013. Funeral Information Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 16, 2015 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kenneth Morrell and Rev. Ronald Brown officiating. Burial will be in Twin Pines Cemetery.
