Ellen Marie Puckett Obituary (1943 - 2016)

Ellen Marie Puckett, 73, of Pana, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Heritage HealthPana. She was born June 10, 1943 in Decatur, IL, daughter of the late Arthur & Mabel Barr Swigart. Ellen graduate of Stephen Decatur High School and moved to Pana in 1977. She was a member of the Pana Eagles, Pana Elks, & Pana Women of the Moose. She had worked as a secretary for the Pana Eagles Club #4109. She loved crocheting, sewing, reading, gardening and her grandchildren. Ellen Swigart & James Puckett were married in 1977 in Decatur. He preceded her on October 22, 2015. She is survived by children: Jeffrey (Pam) Glick, St. Peters, MO; Regina (Kelly) McMillan, Pana, IL; Gary (Joni) Puckett, Decatur, IL; Cathy (Darwin) Krueger, Taylorville, IL; 9 grandchildren; & 18 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers. Funeral Information A time of sharing will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at the Pana Eagles Club with a tree planting service and Eagles rites by the Ladies of the Eagles at 2:00 p.m.
