Ethelyn G. McPherson Obituary (1912 - 2006)

Ethelyn McPherson, 93, of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of Pana died Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 7:35 p.m. in Peninsula Care and Rehabilitation Center, Tarpon Springs, FL. She was born March 2, 1912 in Pana, IL, the daughter of Marshall Mabel Barnett Brewster. Ethelyn was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Pana and Arcana Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Pana. She moved from Pana to Florida in 2002. She is survived by her sons: James McPherson wife Sherry, New Port Richey, FL and Gene McPherson wife Connie, Taylorville, IL; 3 grandchildren: Carrie Bold husband Matt; Renee Turyna husband Brian; and Trent McPherson; 4 great grandchildren: Mary Bold, Jonathan, Nicholas Patrick Turyna; and by her sister: Mildred Buescher husband Vernon, Plainfield, IN. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert McPherson on September 25, 2002. Funeral Information Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. In-Sook Hwang officiating. Burial will be in Tower Hill Cemetery.
