Grace Helen Kindermann Obituary (1931 - 2005)

Grace Helen Kindermann, 74, of Pana died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at 4:45 a.m. in Decatur Memorial Hospital, She was born January 15, 1931 in Nokomis, IL, daughter of Alex and Rebecca Sneddon Petit. She graduated from Pana High School in 1949. Grace her husband moved to West Chicago, IL where they raised their 5 children and retired in Pana in 1996. Mrs. Kindermann was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She was a homemaker, a member of the Christian County Home Bureau, St. Mary's Circle, Pana Community Hospital Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, Catholic Daughters, Ladies of the Moose, Senior Center and Christian County Home Extension, She loved cooking, knitting, crafts, reading, traveling collecting bears dolls. Grace married John "Jack" Kindermann on January 4, 1951 in Pana. He survives in Pana along with their children: Deborah Batterton husband Don, Green Valley, IL; John Kindermann wife Michelle, Brimfield, IL; Mike Kindermann wife Edie, Bloomington IL; Steve Kindermann, Rockford, IL; Jeff Kindermann wife Judy Downers Grove, IL; 7 grandchildren: Stacy, Kami, Tim, Mark, Matt, Jennifer, Heather; 2 great grandchildren: Jordan Dylan; sister: Delores "Cook" Goodwin, Pana and several nieces nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 22, 2005 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Don J. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be Wednesday 5 to 8 p.m. at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home with rosary at 5 p.m.
