Harriet Rose Koontz, 59, of Pana, died Friday, February 15, 2013 in Heritage Health-Pana. She was born June 27, 1953 in Pana, the daughter of Lewis Anna Swank Koontz. Harriet lived her entire life in Pana. She enjoyed knitting and playing bingo. Harriet is survived by her mother: Anna Koontz, Pana, IL; brothers sisters: Louie Koontz wife Donna, Pana, IL; Martha Hooper husband Rick, Cowden, IL; Larry Koontz wife Shelly, Pana, IL; Cynthia Koontz, Pana, IL; and Delbert Koontz wife Shannon, Pana, IL; nieces nephews: Sara Koontz, Alex Koontz, Jessica Rahn, Jeremy Koontz, Mathew Koontz, William Koontz. She was preceded in death by her father brother, Gary Koontz. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 9 to 10 a.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 10:30 a.m. in Mound Cemetery, Pana with Pastor Neil Kaiser officiating.
