Heather Lynn Miller Steffens Obituary (1981 - 2021)

Heather Lynn Miller Steffens, 40, of Pana passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 in her father's home. She was born September 30, 1981 in Decatur, IL. On Saturday, November 13, 2021 the family will be hosting a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. at the Pana Eagles Club in memory of their beloved Heather. This will be a time for both family and friends to come together and share some of their favorite memories and show their support. During the evening hours there will be a DJ provided for entertainment and continued celebration of Heather's life. Heather received a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Northwest Missouri State and worked as a catastrophe adjuster for American Family Insurance. She enjoyed sports, especially Illini basketball, Las Vegas Raiders & Chicago Cubs. She loved spending time with her family, especially her niece & nephew. Heather is survived by her father, Ron (Julie) Miller, Pana, IL; mother, Stephanie Miller, Knob Noster, MO; significant other, Kayla Swanson, Minneapolis, MN; grandmother, Lenora Miller, Pana, IL; siblings: Holly (Ray) Beier, Knob Noster, MO & Alex Miller, Vandalia, IL; niece & nephew, Maebry & Landry Beier; aunts & uncles: Kimberly (Rod) Cox, Mattoon, IL; Andrea (Rod) Andrew, Ankeny, IA; Stacey (Rick) Farlow, Osceola, IA; Alvie (Becky) Miller, Pana, IL; Dave (Linda) Miller, Cape Coral, FL; Kenny (Nancy) Miller, Rochester, IL; Phyllis (Dan) Eck, Rosamond, IL; Mark (Marla) Miller, Pana, IL; Mike (Wendy) Miller, Pana, IL; Dot (Doug) Peifer, Oconee, IL; stepsister: Shayna Hadley and daughter, Paisley, Colorado & stepbrother Blake (Kaley) Hadley and daughter Natalyn, Pana, IL; and many, many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Alva Miller and Stephen & Beverly Hanson and aunt, Pamela Hanson.
