Katherine L. Trout Obituary (1919 - 2013)

Katherine L. Trout, 93, of Pana, died on Monday, February 4, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. She was born March 20, 1919 in Springfield, IL. She lived mostly in central Illinois, coming to Pana in the 1960's. Katherine worked at Lekis Candy Factory and as a bakery manager at Eisner's until she retired at the age of 80. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana and the Pana American Legion Auxiliary. Katherine married Carl A. Trout and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Flora Freeman husband John, Pana, IL Richard Trout, Booneville, MS; 5 grandchildren: Carol, Jim, Johnna, Rick Ed; 18 great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded by her parents; daughter in infancy; granddaughters: Linda Joann; brothers: Bill, Ed, George; sister, Gertrude. Funeral Information A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
