Kenny Schinzler Obituary (1944 - 2011)

Kenny Schinzler, 67, of Pana, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN. He was born July 22, 1944 in Shelbyville, the son of Harold Hazel (Hanan) Schinzler. Kenny served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was also a member of the Pana VFW Post #4431. Kenny worked as an auto mechanic for Downs Motors, Pana for several years before going into the service. He is survived by ex-wife: Sara Pearse, Pana, IL; daughter: Kimberly Lynn Wolf husband Jared, Decatur, IL; grandson Daniel; brothers sisters: Larry Schinzler wife Kathleen, Bloomington, IL; Mary E. Snow, Taylorville, IL; Shirley Atkinson husband Earl, Pana, IL; Barbara Britton husband Philip, Pana, IL; and several nieces nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Richard E. "Rich" Schinzler on August 11, 2005. Funeral Information A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 in Linwood Cemetery, Pana at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Lawrence Gibson officiating with graveside military rites by Pana Veterans Honor Guard.
