Marcus Allen Voudrie Obituary (1984 - 2021)

Marcus Allen Voudrie, 37, of Shelbyville formerly of Pana passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 in HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital, Shelbyville. He was born April 25, 1984 in Hillsboro, IL son of Jim Voudrie & Deeann (Becker) Voudrie. Marcus graduated from Pana High School. After high school he received a welding certificate. He was currently employed at Miller Ag Service in Cowden, IL where he drove a tractor. Marcus liked to shoot guns, fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, and drawing but most importantly he loved spending time with his children, family, and friends. Marcus is survived by his father, Jim Voudrie; mother Deeann Voudrie (fiance, Toby Voughn); children, Makayla Voudrie & Braylen Voudrie and their mother, Brittany Carry; Bennett Rhodes & Maebrie Voudrie and their mother, Brittney Rhodes who was Marcus's girlfriend of 5 years; sisters: Jennifer Voudrie & Lillian Voudrie; grandmother, Verla Voudrie and many aunts, uncles, & cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard & Dorothy Becker and Cyril Voudrie; uncles, Allen Voudrie & Terry Voudrie and cousin, Krystal Voudrie. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor John Largent officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Memorials in Marcus's honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
