Micheal Zenith Washburn Obituary (1952 - 2022)

Micheal Zenith Washburn, 69, of Rosamond passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in his home. He was born December 17, 1952 in Thomaston, GA, son of the late Lloyd Sylvester & Bea (Blount) Washburn. Micheal married Nora Holliday on August 11, 1973, and she survives in Rosamond, IL. Micheal was a graduate of Taylorville High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pana. He retired from International Paper in Shelbyville. He raised horses and was a member of both the Missouri & Illinois Foxtrotting Association. He enjoyed farming and loved his grandchildren dearly. In addition to his wife, Micheal is survived by his children: Becky (Jason) Erlenbush, Roby, IL; Racheal (Carrie) Washburn, Williamsville, IL; Evan (Aubry) Washburn, Pana, IL; grandchildren: Weston Erlenbush, Abby Erlenbush, Dylan Cumby, Noah Cumby, Tobin Washburn, Ysa Washburn, Edie Washburn & Ona Washburn; and siblings: Debra (Rodger) Menn, Ames, NE; Lloyd "Buster" (Brenda) Washburn, Pana, IL; Mark Washburn, Pana, IL. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Theodore Washburn & Daniel Washburn and mother & father-in-law, David & Wilma Holliday. Funeral services for Micheal will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in the First United Methodist Church, Pana at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jessica Baldyga officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Memorials in Micheal's honor may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Pana or Pana Community Hospital Foundation and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
