Minnie L. Miller Obituary (1927 - 2019)

Minnie L. Miller, 92, of Pana passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in Heritage Health--Pana. She was born July 13, 1927 in Irving, daughter of the late William & Cora (Caulk) Altevogt. Minnie married Henry Miller on June 14, 1947 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1993. Minnie grew up in the Irving & Witt areas, but spent most of her life in Pana. She had worked as a C.N.A., as well as in the dress & glove factories. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pana and enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, cooking gardening & word searches. Minnie is survived by her children: Danny (Alice) Miller, Pana, IL & Joyce (Jay) Warnick, Wichita, KS; daughter-in-law, Connie Miller, Pana, IL; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild . Besides her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by her sons: Dwaine Miller in infancy & Dennis Miller and 4 brothers & 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Altman officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. Memorials in Minnie's honor may be made to the Heritage Health Activity Fund and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home, who is assisting the family.
