Opal June Mueller Obituary (1942 - 2019)

Opal June Mueller, 77, of Pana passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was born January 20, 1942, daughter of the late William Roy & Edith Marie (Dilley) Haney. June married Marvin Mueller on November 17, 1984 and he preceded her in death. June was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo & going to the boat. She was also a collector of jewelry & gemstones. June loved visiting family and was a caregiver to many people. She is survived by her children: Kathy Reiss (significant other, Scott Barringer), Decatur, IL; Darin (Rebecca) Reiss, Blue Mound, IL; Carla (Roger) Alderton, Lexington, IL; step children: Michelle (Rich) Schaub, Warrenton, VA; Jackie Mueller & Mark Mueller, both of central Illinois; 19 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sons: David Reiss & Mark Reiss; 2 grandchildren and siblings: Naomi Wallis, Ilene Matthews & Thomas Roy Haney. Per June's wishes, cremation rights will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be in Tower Hill Cemetery at a later date.
