Rondy Dale Keener, Sr. Obituary (1970 - 2019)

Rondy Dale Keener, Sr., 48 of Pana passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Champaign, IL. He was born May 29, 1970 to Rondy Darrell & Norma Ann (Toney) Keener. After graduating high school, Rondy went on to serve his country in the United States Navy and then moved to Pana, along with his parents in 1994. He was an avid sports fan, especially of football and basketball, of which he played while in school. Rondy is survived by his sons: Rondy Dale Keener, Jr., Pana & David Keener, West Virginia; 1 grandchild; his father Rondy Darrell Keener, Pana; several aunts and uncles including Karen (Randy) Claxton, Pana and many cousins. He was preceded by his mother Norma Ann Keener on March 2, 2019. Funeral services for Rondy will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Price Cemetery, Oconee with military rites accorded by the Pana Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. Memorials in Rondy's honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
