Trent Hunter Obituary (1993 - 2021)

Trent Hunter, 27, of Tower Hill passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 in Pana Community Hospital. He was born May 1, 1993 in Decatur. In his younger years, Trent enjoyed skateboarding. More recently, he collected coins and tried his luck with scratch-off lottery tickets. He had also worked on the oil rigs for Maxxus Well Control. His greatest joy was his children. Trent is survived by his mother & step father, Dawn (Cory) Scheibly, Pana, IL; father, Allen Hunter, Pana, IL; significant other, Heather Beck, Tower Hill, IL; children: Keelie Springer, Andrew Cripe, Baylee Hunter, Waylen Beck, Hudson Hunter; grandparents: Butch Hocq and Judy & Rocco DiPaolo and siblings: Coady (Katie) Stanbery, Brandon Scheibly (significant other, Matt), Shawn (Jessica) Scheibly & Jordan (Mariah) Hunter. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mary Hunter, Stanley Hunter & Frank Mercer. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Memorials in Trent's honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
